【Outline of the plan】
- Fee: 6,600 yen/person (tax included)
- Number of people: 1 to 6 (small group luxury!)
- Duration: about 60 minutes
- Time slots: You can choose from 9:00 / 10:30 / 12:00 / 13:30 / 15:00 / 16:30
【Why Choose HANBEI? (3 Key Features)】】
- The "Magic" of Improvement
We start with a warm-up. You might be nervous at first, but as you practice the basic strokes (stops, sweeps, and hooks), you will see your writing improve instantly. The journey from "Can I do this?" to "Wow, I did it!" is the best part of the experience. - Live Demonstration Just for You (Your Name in Japanese!)
We don't just hand you a textbook. Our master will come to your table and write a sample of your name (in Katakana or Kanji) or favorite word right in front of you. Watching the professional brush movement live is the best way to learn—and it’s a special performance just for you. - Take Home a Real "Hanging Scroll"
Unlike casual workshops that just give you a piece of paper, we mount your final masterpiece onto a high-quality Hanging Scroll (Kakejiku) on the spot. It transforms your writing into instant interior art to display in your home. (Note: We provide professional-grade brushes and ink for you to use during the class. The scroll is yours to keep!)
【Flow of the experience】
- Welcome & Warm-up
Relax! We explain how to hold the brush with a smile. No stress here. - Your Custom Sample
Tell us your name or a word you like. The master will write a custom sample for you on the spot. Seeing your name in Japanese characters is a memorable moment! - Practice & Coaching
Practice on standard paper. We give you simple tips—"Press here," "Lift here"—and you'll be amazed at how quickly your lines become beautiful. - The Main Event (Seisho)
Now, the real challenge. Take a deep breath and write on the special scroll paper. Feel the thrilling tension of the "one-shot" performance. - Completion & Relief
The moment you lift the brush, tension turns into relief and accomplishment. Everyone claps! - Photo Session
Pose with your finished scroll. It’s the perfect souvenir of your bravery and creativity.
